Thank you to Tyneview Primary for inviting Simon Bartram and I to today’s grand opening ceremony of the Reading Rocks Den. A fantastic building, supported through Community Foundation. Here’s to future confident readers and writers, it’s at the core of what we do. https://t.co/2Hoxg0VVI2

A huge thank you to @tcfharity in helping us build our 'reading rocks den' to support with Reading post COVID. You are amazing!
Tyneview’s Reading Rocks Den is officially open! @tcfcharity ,@communityfoundation. Amazing work Year 3 for their designs for the space and Calvin for the logo. We know all the children will love this space and it will bring a lot of pleasure during reading times in school.
In Year 3 our new topic is ‘Inspirational Sports Stars’. We chose @MarcusRashford and have written information texts about him this week. This little boy blew me away with his knowledge and research; he is football mad and we’d love for you to read his work ⚽️ #MarcusRashford
Looking forward to seeing everybody back on Monday. Please check our Re-Opening letter if you are unsure of any details.
